I got back from Spokane a week ago. Although I’m taking a break from skating I’m still very busy because of all the homework I missed. And also I’m in the Ballet West production of Swan Lake. I have a lot of rehearsals and performances until the end of February. I enjoy it.

The two weeks at Spokane was the most memorable moments of my life so far. The people at Spokane are very nice and they support figure skating a lot. I did very well on my short program but made a couple of mistakes on the long. I’m very happy to be a Novice National Champion. I will continue to work hard.

After Nationals I was invited to do the Smuckers Skating Spectacular. At the Sunday morning’s practice I got to skate with Jeremy, Evan, Johnny, and Jason Brown it was such an honor for me to skate with the top skaters. And I got to meet the past Olympic Champions, it was very exciting.

When I was ten days old my oldest brother won his first National Champion in Chess. Many people said I would be a very good Chess player. They would say “He knows how to play chess in his mom’s tummy” but now I’m ten years old and I’m a National Champion in skating.
